Abstract

This article carried out an analysis of the emission of green bonds, the S&P Green Bond Index. Green bonds, or climate bonds, began their march on the global capital market in 2009 after being introduced by the World Bank. The main goal of introducing this bond to the World Bank into the international capital market is to maintain the ecological and social balance in the global ecosystem. Green bonds were met with great interest not only by institutional investors in the United States, Europe, and China but also by private investors, and their attractiveness to investors remains at a high level, albeit with some fluctuations.
