Abstract

The methodology of analyzing the effectiveness of the bank lending channel of the monetary policy transmission mechanism is established in the scientific article. According to the results of the analysis, the share of commercial banksъ loans in assets, the level of development of the banking system and the securitization market in the country, the characteristics of bank credit contracts, the role of foreign banks in the banking system of the country and the level of liquidity and capital adequacy of commercial banks were determined to be the main factors affecting the effectiveness of the bank lending channel. Also, factors such as the fact that a large share of loans allocated to the private sector fall on small and medium-sized banks and the share of enterprises in general enterprises that do not have alternative sources of financing other than bank loans also affect the lending channel.
