Abstract

This article empirically analyzes the factors affecting the economic efficiency of credit organizations providing microfinance services, that is, their liquidity and profitability indicators, as well as the social efficiency of these organizations, that is, the volume of loans and their percentage. According to the results of the model, the indicators of liquidity of these organizations were positively affected by the indicative interest rate, percentage of loans, profitability of assets. Also, if the increase in the money supply has a positive effect on the return on assets of microfinance organizations, it has a negative effect on the return on capital.

The impact of the indicative interest rate, money supply and inflation levels on the volume and percentage of loans of microfinance organizations was not determined. On the contrary, it was found that the devaluation of the national currency has a strong effect on the percentage of loans of microfinance organizations.
